Situated in the heart of Derby City Centre, Riverlights is accessible by car, foot, train, bus …and even by boat! The event showcases several installations created by local, national and international artists. Once open, people can walk along the two-kilometre River of Light trail for free and see the 12 installations that can be found along the route from various artists. We are very excited to be returning for River of Light in 2023! We can’t wait to bring our work to the beautiful city of Liverpool alongside a talented line up of local, national and international artists. The festival showed off the immense talents and beautiful spaces that Sleaford has to offer through a synergy of community and professional acts, as well as artist commissions. RiverLight 2023 was co-produced for and by the community of Sleaford. Over 50 partners were involved in bringing the festival to life including, tourist venues, businesses, charities, Sleaford Library, community groups, artists, Council’s, and the voluntary sector.

Riverlight lies on 2.2ha within the exciting Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Battersea (VNEB) regeneration area, which will form an exciting brand new district in Central London making Riverlight not just a great place to live, but also part of a new and important London landmark. With the River Slea at its heart, a creative trail winds through the town taking in inspiring artworks, performances, street theatre, live music, trails, dance, flash mobs, puppet shows, food stalls and light projections.It makes art accessible, fun and thought-provoking, and as we can see from previous years, it has a direct, positive impact on the local economy, bringing a much-needed financial boost to the leisure and hospitality sector. The arrangement seeks to maximise views and sunlight to each dwelling. The apartments – typically single aspect – are organised as east or west facing and typically grouped as five units per core, minimising corridor lengths.

The theme of this year’s outdoor illuminated trail is 'United By Light' paying tribute to the United By Music strapline - used when Liverpool hosted the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine in May 2023. This will take place during the following days / timesRiverlight transforms a triangular, five-acre industrial estate – close to Battersea Power Station on the south bank of the River Thames – into a residential-led mixed use development, creating a transition between the large footprints of the power station and the smaller residential developments to the east.
