We’ve designed the Hawk with extra-wide feet which are pre-attached for superior strength and durability. If I found the ground so soft that this wasn’t enough, I can put my sitting pad under the straps and I reckon that’d work even on sand. The seat has a durable 600D PVC coated polyester back which is solid rather than mesh to provide optimum lumbar support, comfort, and warmth in cooler weather.

Quick update - the lathe balls appear to be working - no sinking, splitting or balls being left behind in mud. Integrated in the feet is a TPE-rubber (Thermoplastic Elastomers) part that extends through the bottom that both seals the inside space and provides an anti-slip surface. These chairs are the same, highly bred, but you need to be well trained and experienced to ride them. The groundsheets for GoOutdoors copy don't fit the narrower Helinox, and I suspect this will generally be the case, especially with the offset legs on your Pathfinder. Does anyone know if any of the Helinox/other "insert brand here" "groundsheets" work with the Pathfinder? And it always provides entertainment for everyone else when the rate for one leg suddenly increases, and I get to have a lie down.
