About this deal

Raymond Rudorff - The Dracula Archives (Pocket, July 1973) "Non-Fiction", according to the publisher. At first, the ending seemed a bit anticlimactic, but upon reflection, I felt like the whole adventurous lead-up was all part of the ending and it worked.

Had a root about the loft and found this, still surprisingly intact from the last time I read it, so when I was about twelve, which doesn't bode well and means that it was proably crap.In most cases, this means that it was first published prior to January 1, 1929 (see the template documentation for more cases). There's a glossary, introductory notes and even a quiz at the end so you can bone up on important plot developments and stuff to further convince your friends that you're in the habit of reading sprawling gothic horror classics. It seems to be more straightforward than Elisabeth Hand´s sequel to Frankenstein´s Bride, which somehow put the bride and Praetorius to Weimar´s Berlin. Decorative, durable, and collectible, these books offer hours of pleasure to readers young and old and are an indispensable cornerstone for any home library. Stoker’s Dracula has served as the inspirational source for countless theatrical, film, and television interpretations.

Into Castle Dracula, a forbidding fortress in the depths of Transylvania, where a satanic count haints the night and preys upon the innocent, walks a fearless young solicitor, Jonathan Harker. As a result, before I read that book, I thought I would reread the classics in vampire literature this October – Dracula, and Interview With the Vampire. Clearly this is more a loosely based modified imitation, than having more impeccable attention to detail. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. If a book like this were written today, there would probably be references to all sorts of social media, I’d imagine. There is the touch on the shoulder that comes when you are walking quickly homewards in the dark hours, full of anticipation of the warm room and bright fire, and when you pull up, startled, what face or no-face do you see?

Unfortunately, as it took a while to dispatch, I was so impatient, that, 'caught up in the Dracula moment,' I turned to Google Images to see the original 1st editions. Thanks to the huge success of the Twilight series, vampires have become the most popular supernatural creatures on earth. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).In this new Horror Classic gamebook, YOU can choose whether to play the part of the vampire-hunter, or of his arch-enemy, the vampire count himself! They strike up an initially uneasy friendship but its no secret that Escott shares Jack's adventures throughout the series and proves himself to be a thoroughly good egg.

No matter how you slice it though, while Dracula may be problematic, it reflects both the time it was written and the time that is now. Which would explain why the title and author lettering doesn't touch the edges of the spine as the on the 1st edition's. For years after I wondered how fantastic it would be if it was republished and bound like the 1st Edition of 1897.A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book goes to the designer in support of their career advancement.
