About this deal

I bought my current Lagerfeld Classic quite recently - about six years ago - so I'll just have the current formulation in my mind.

I've completely forgotten what the man looked like who was chased by the heavy breathing, sweaty young woman, but I'm grateful to this day for our chance encounter. I wonder if the popularity of Kouros was due to the fact this DNA wafted through the discos for 5 years without YSL's help. If anyone is interested in trying this and has another cheapie to trade, hit me up and let’s see what’s what. Whereas I adored it back then, on her, and on me when I pinched some from her bathroom, KL now just doesn’t smell quite the same. This poor guy is like a fairy race in True Blood; chained in a basement, sucked dry by vampires, went extinct, and plagiarized silly by lab made true blood beverages.

Interparfums has elevated the quality of the bottle and cap to be closer again to the original release, so fair play to them. I would recommend this for mature noses and generally for people who are well-seasoned in vintage perfumes. I rember it being the least musky of his collection, It almost was like CK Obsession that my older cousins were wearing at the same time, but it was stronger. After a few hours, two to three I’d say, the fragrance enters dry-down mode, it becomes a skin perfume and you need to bring your nose closer to an application point to better feel the accords. What I don't understand at all are the comparisons to Geoffrey Beene, Habit Rouge, Guerlain Vetyver or Halston.

The tonka beans reinforce the smell of tobacco, but the powdery aspect of the iris decides to appear, by surprise, like that guest who arrives at the end of the party, when everyone is already leaving. They have done a really good job keeping the formulation of the new bottles as close to the vintage as possible. Not because it's too strong, but because it's just better if it's introduced a little at a time - like: nice to meet you, I'm Jim, I'm a taxi driver, also a big game hunter, bare knuckle fist fighter and best selling author. Starting with wood and flowers and drying into earthy tobacco with musky amber with dash of vanilla. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy or reliability of the AI-generated pros and cons.Lagerfeld Classic behaves very different on test paper than on your skin, it develops much differently. Very different than my normal fragrances; normally I"m a Blue fragrance wearer, this is a different experience. Lagerfeld is a more masculine gruff fragrance, and there is some bit of enticing seductiveness scent in it too.

Im trying to be honestly critical by giving a critical opinion without the nostalgia of smelling this on my dad every day of his life.Actually, it got replaced by a slightly overwhelming scent of tobacco there was no hint of in the original.

Perhaps it was in comparison to the scent bomb of Polo Green, that was everywhere in the early eighties. Suntem subiectivi clar în domeniul parfumurilor, așa că sunt sigur că, alte persoane vor aprecia acest parfum.

As an other reviewer already stated, this indeed smells best from a little distance, instead of directly from skin. It's a boozy/spicy/soapy combo frag, and in 2020 im actually still in love with this scent even without the nostalgia taking into consideration. Ah, the hazelnut note—a subtle yet distinct touch that adds a layer of mystery to this aromatic symphony.
