About this deal

One of our responsibilities is to ensure we do not sell age-restricted products online to people who are under the minimum legal age. A clear pale gold liquid with intense hazelnut aromas, rich in texture, with a pronounced but delicate hazelnut flavour and a smooth, long finish.

The hazelnut extract is accompanied by coffee, vanilla and cocoa and then aged for six to eight weeks to create a sweet golden liqueur. Flavoured with hazelnuts which are toasted and distilled with neutral alcohol before infusion with cacao beans, coffee, vanilla, berries, rhubarb root, sweet orange flowers and other natural flavours. Frangelico is a delicious hazelnut liqueur that's perfect for sipping on its own or using in cocktails.Information and statements about products are not intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

In its latest formulation it is 20%abv but most upsettingly the flavour has been altered and it is not nearly as good. According to legend, Frangelico was first made by the monks of northern Italy over 300 years ago, hence the cassock-shaped bottle and it is considered that the name comes from the shortening of Father Angelico - a Franciscan friar rumoured to have first created the drink. Like other nuts, hazelnuts are rich in nutrients and have a high content of protein, fats, vitamins and minerals. Our Crème de Cassis de Dijon makes a delicious “blackcurrant white” and can also be used for recipes or desserts.Hazelnut liqueur will benefit from being left to mature for another couple of months after bottling. In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about a product please carefully read any instructions provided on the label or packaging and contact the manufacturer. You can make any quantity of this hazelnut liqueur recipe, but keep the proportions of 4/5ths vodka to 1/5th brandy. Homemade hazelnut liqueur has a clean nutty flavor that's stronger and more natural-tasting than its commercial counterparts. Once your nuts have infused in the alcohol for a month, you will need the following to make a simple syrup to sweeten the hazelnut liqueur.

Cove Caramelised Hazelnut Liqueur is an enticing combination of buttery dark chocolate, hazelnut and cream, followed by fragrant praline and honey, with a rich milk chocolate nutty finish. You can take that idea to the next level with this bacon, bourbon, and hazelnut hot chocolate or a hazelnut-spiked Irish coffee with chocolate whipped cream.Making your own liqueur produces a cleaner, nuttier flavor than its commercial counterparts and allows you to experiment with additions like herbs and fruit.
